Reforestation and Habitat Restoration
While the protection of existing forest is imperative, we also need to expand the amount of available habitat. This will help species survival in Monteverde and their recovery from population declines.

Reforestation
| We have donated over 10,000 trees to farmers to replant forests in pastures. We grow native tree species and distribute them to land owners in the tree's appropriate habitats. The reforestation effort is in collaboration with the Monteverde Institute and the Guide Association of Monteverde. |

Our conservation plan includes the incorporation of BIOLOGICAL CORRIDORS that facilitate seed dispersal and are necessary for animal movements such as the migration of the Resplendent Quetzal. |
